WISHBONE a word about Buck……….

Buck has been writing for the past twelve years. His hand is very sore. Wishbone was his first feature and recieved development funding to take it further. Since then he has written ten features as well as numerous short films. His short fillm “The Art of Farewell” won best screenplay at Tropfest 2001.

His romantic comedy “McAlpines Fusiliers” was picked up for Fox studios for script develpment. Currently he writes with a team called “100 Monkeys Media” and has two sitcoms in development with Grundies TV.

For the past three years he has helped judge Tropfest preselection and is both inspired and terrified by the talent that is out there. Australia has a lot to offer. He is amazed at the tide of talent behind Wishbone

To be perfectly honest Buck hates writing. He only writes because he is no good at anything else. He would much prefer to work in a call centre. If he had to do it all over, Buck assures me that he would make the same mistakes again but be much better at it.

If you come into contact with Buck and he offers to write for you, walk away. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT run. Running only provokes his natural hunting instinct and he will repond to you as though you were prey or a producer and hunt you down.

If you find yourself in possession of a BUCK BUCKINGHAM script it is advised to play dead and not return his calls. Do not encourage him, it only makes him depressed and insecure.
